Christ Among Neighbors (C.A.N.), established in 1991, operates out of Shippensburg, Pennsylvania, serving individuals and families within the Shippensburg area and surrounding communities. Its mission is to provide crisis intervention services by assisting neighbors who have exhausted all available resources for basic needs such as housing, utilities, clothing, and medical care, offering support rooted in compassion and community service. The organization works closely with local social service agencies to ensure individuals receive comprehensive assistance and guidance toward stability. 

Through appointment‑based services, Christ Among Neighbors provides emergency financial assistance for essential needs, including rent, utility payments, medical expenses, and clothing.
