Family Promise of the Midlands was founded in 2013, launching operations in Columbia, South Carolina, to serve families experiencing homelessness with community-based shelter and support services. Its mission is to help families experiencing homelessness in their quest to achieve sustainable independence, delivered through a coalition of faith-based host congregations, volunteers, and professional case management teams.
