Rochester Area IHN recently received a $1,000.00 donation from The Woodforest Charitable Foundation.
Rochester Area Interfaith Hospitality Network (RAIHN), established in 2004, operates in Rochester, New York, serving families experiencing or at risk of homelessness throughout the Greater Rochester community. Its mission is to help homeless families achieve sustainable independence by providing person‑centered, holistic services through a collaborative, interfaith community response. As an affiliate of the national Family Promise network, the organization focuses on keeping families together while supporting them on their path to stable housing and self‑sufficiency.
Through a network of local congregations, community partners, and volunteers, RAIHN provides an emergency shelter program that offers safe housing, meals, and a supportive environment for families with children. Families receive comprehensive case management at a central day center, including assistance with budgeting, employment, parenting skills, and housing searches, along with access to transportation, childcare resources, and essential daily needs. In addition to emergency shelter, the organization offers extended support through aftercare and stabilization programs, as well as prevention and diversion services that help families avoid eviction and maintain long‑term housing stability.
