Woodforest Charitable Foundation Donates $750 to The Beeville Vineyard, Inc.

Beeville, Texas - Woodforest Charitable Foundation has recently made a $750.00 donation to The Beeville Vineyard, Inc. Food Bank.

Established in 1984, The Beeville Vineyard, Inc. celebrated its 25th year of assisting the less fortunate, free of charge. Funds for ninety percent of the food given out by The Vineyard come from local churches, service organizations, schools and individuals. The remaining ten percent is purchased by The Beeville Vineyard, Inc. employees. “With nearly 1,600 families in our active files, we have daily requests for food,” said Betty Hale, Executive Director of The Beeville Vineyard, Inc. “We are extremely excited and thankful for the generous donation from Woodforest Charitable Foundation.”

"On behalf of the Woodforest Charitable Foundation and Woodforest National Bank, we are grateful to have the opportunity to provide funding that will assist with food supplies for their pantry. We challenge others to join us in our efforts to end hunger in our communities,” said Kim Marling, vice president of Woodforest Charitable Foundation.
