The Foodbank of Southeastern Virginia Receives $5,500 Donation

NORFOLK, VA – The Foodbank of Southeastern Virginia welcomes a $5,500 gift from Woodforest Charitable Foundation.  The Foodbank of Southeastern Virginia was founded in 1981 as a clearinghouse used to feed citizens at risk of hunger.  Since its inception, the Foodbank has distributed over 221 million pounds of food directly and through partner agencies throughout five counties.
