Clemson Community Care recently received a $835.00 donation from The Woodforest Charitable Foundation.

Clemson Community Care, established in 1988 by local interdenominational church ministers in the Clemson, Central, and Pendleton area of South Carolina, serves as a community safety net for residents facing crisis. Its mission is to assist persons in difficult circumstances with necessities such as food, shelter, and utilities, and to help them become self-sufficient through educational programs and advocacy. CCC operates a food pantry distributing more than 300,000 pounds of food annually, about 20,000 pounds each month, alongside programs offering SNAP enrollment support, utility and rental assistance, homeless emergency support, holiday outreach, home repair, back-to-school supplies, and more. In the past year, CCC served over 10,700 individuals from nearly 3,900 families, with over 3,700 volunteers helping deliver services and distribute essentials to the community.
