Daily Bread Ministries-Greer Soup Kitchen
Greer, SC – On a continual basis Woodforest National Bank employees perform a multitude of fundraising events benefitting the Woodforest Charitable Foundation.  Both Woodforest National Bank and Woodforest Charitable Foundation are committed to making a positive impact in the communities in which Woodforest serves. This partnership benefits the community and organizations such as Daily Bread Ministries-Greer Soup Kitchen, which recently received a $1,805 donation, from the Woodforest Charitable Foundation.


Daily Bread Ministries-Greer Soup Kitchen was opened in 1990 by a group of concerned citizens that recognized the need to help feed the hungry and needy in the community. Currently, the Soup Kitchen provides over 60k meals annually, and is funded completely upon donations of food and money from private citizens, churches and businesses with no money received from governmental agencies.


Their mission is, “To feed the hungry by providing one hot nutritious meal a day to whoever comes.”
