Emergency Ministries received a $20,000 donation recently from the Woodforest Charitable Foundation.

Financial gifts from organizations helps Emergency Ministries advance its mission of providing crisis chaplaincy services to first responders,” Skip Straus, founder, chief executive officer and senior chaplain with Emergency Ministries, said in the Emergency Ministries press release that made the announcement Thursday, Sept. 12.

Emergency Ministries provides crisis chaplaincy services to 32 fire, EMS and police agencies in 47 counties in Texas, including Montgomery and Harris counties.
