Family Promise of York County, founded in 1999 as the Interfaith Hospitality Network of York County and operating under its current name thereafter, serves families facing homelessness in Rock Hill and surrounding areas. Their mission is to provide a comprehensive and compassionate program of meals, shelter and case management services to homeless families through a community network of congregations and staff that foster long‑term self‑sufficiency, independence and success for families. Operating with the support of 14 host congregations, FPYC provides rotating emergency shelter, nutritious meals, and intensive case management. Additional services include job search assistance, transportation support, and rapid-rehousing strategies, all aimed at helping families transition successfully into permanent homes and regain stability. Their vision ensures that families leave the program better equipped to meet life's challenges.
