Woodforest Charitable Foundation

Founded in 1979 by a consortium of Lutheran churches and community leaders in Jacksonville, LSSNEFL began its mission with the Nourishment Network. A small food pantry that has since grown into a cornerstone of its outreach. Over time, the organization expanded to include five core programs: Nourishment Network, Refugee Resettlement, Representative Payee Services, AIDS Care & Education (ACE), and Steps 2 Success, a financial and career coaching initiative of Lutheran Social Services. Guided by its mission, Motivated and guided by the compassion of Christ, we serve and care for people in need. It serves as a faith-based social ministry addressing food insecurity, financial instability, disease prevention, and refugee integration across Northeast Florida.
