Woodforest Charitable Foundation

Founded in 1995 as a small church pantry in Kingwood, Texas, Mission Northeast expanded in 2000 to its current location on Loop 494 in New Caney. Serving over 800 square miles across Montgomery, Harris, and Liberty counties, the organization provides free services to individuals and families in need. Their mission is to transform our community, one life at a time, through the love of Jesus Christ. Mission Northeast offers a range of programs, including food distribution, clothing, household items, financial assistance for rent and utilities, and educational support. They also provide specialized services such as the Wheels and a Way to Work program, which assists adults with transportation for classes and employment, and the Safe Haven Ministry, which helps families in unsafe living conditions.
