RICHMOND, VA – Woodforest Charitable Foundation recently made a $7,500 donation to St. Joseph’s Villa.

St. Joseph’s Villa is a place where children with special needs can learn, grow and thrive.  At-risk youth can find their dreams and a way to achieve them.  Women and children in crisis can find refuge and renewal.  Adults living with disabilities can lead independent lives.

The mission of St. Joseph’s Villa is to provide children with special needs and their families the opportunity to succeed through innovative and effective programs.  To fulfill this mission, St. Joseph’s Villa provides a variety of educational, residential and day programs to children and families dealing with autism, homelessness or physical and mental disabilities or behaviors that classify the child as being at risk.  “The Woodforest Charitable Foundation’s recent donation makes a real difference in the lives of more than 800 children and families St. Joseph’s Villa will serve this year,” stated David Huffine, Vice President of Financial Development, St. Joseph’s Villa.  “Take pride in knowing you are helping change the lives of children and families facing difficulties by providing an opportunity for greater stability, independence, self-confidence, value and hopefulness.”
