Terry Haute Catholic Charities Food Bank recently received a $1,305.00 donation from The Woodforest Charitable Foundation.

Founded as part of Catholic Charities of Terre Haute, which began serving the community in 1973, the Foodbank was later formalized to address urgent hunger across seven counties in west‑central Indiana. As a Feeding America partner, the Foodbank now collects, warehouses, and distributes food equivalent to more than 3.65 million meals annually via over 90 partner agencies, including food pantries, youth and senior centers, and shelters. Its mission is rooted in providing essential nourishment and hope to neighbors, delivering help without regard to financial means, background, or belief, while offering broader support through safe shelter, youth programming, and household assistance to strengthen community resilience.
