ACTS Community (Action in Community Through Service) is a Christian nonprofit serving Amarillo and the surrounding areas. While an exact founding date wasn't located, it has become known for helping neighbors in need through tangible, faith-driven programs. Their mission is to transform the lives of seniors, families, and children by providing education, training, basic needs, and holistic support through their on-the-ground resource centers, such as the San Jacinto center and a downtown Amarillo location. These centers provide essential services, including food, hygiene necessities, clothing, computer access, and home repair, as well as senior engagement programs that offer meals, activities, and community-building opportunities.
