Family Promise of Greater Cleveland recently received a $1,000.00 donation from The Woodforest Charitable Foundation.

Family Promise of Greater Cleveland is a private nonprofit formed in 2011 through the merger of the Interfaith Hospitality Network of Greater Cleveland and New Life Community, combining over 25 years of collective experience serving homeless families in the region. Their mission is to inspire and empower homeless families to transform their lives, become self-sufficient, and fulfill their promise. Each year, they assist over 100 families by providing temporary housing free of charge, supported by individualized case management, employment services, and community-based follow-up that continues for months after moving into permanent housing. Utilizing a “housing‑first” approach, the organization ensures families remain together, regardless of composition, while receiving help with job readiness, legal aid, budgeting, mental health linkage, and kids’ well-being.
