Rebuilding Together Tampa Bay was founded in 2000 by members of the Tampa Bay Builders Association and Greater Tampa Association of Realtors, to preserve affordable homeownership by providing critical home repairs and revitalizing neighborhoods for low-income residents. Guided by the mission Repair Homes, Revitalize Communities, Rebuild Lives, the organization offers free home repairs, accessibility modifications, disaster recovery support, and affordable housing projects throughout Tampa Bay and an expanding footprint across Florida. Since its inception, the nonprofit has rehabilitated over 2,500 homes, invested more than $20 million in Safe & Healthy Homes improvements, and built 30+ affordable homes, all with the help of skilled volunteers and local partners.
