Second Harvest Food Bank of Clark, Champaign & Logan Counties/ Catholic Charities Southwestern OH recently received a $1,315.00 donation from The Woodforest Charitable Foundation.

Founded in 1981 under Catholic Charities Southwestern Ohio, the organization now operates independently as the Ohio Tri‑County Food Alliance / Second Harvest Food Bank, serving Clark, Champaign, and Logan Counties from its Springfield, Ohio headquarters. Its mission is to alleviate hunger in Clark, Champaign, and Logan Counties by sourcing and distributing nutritious food to people in need, building community partnerships, and mobilizing the public to support hunger relief. The Food Bank collects and stores donated and purchased food in its 62,000 sq ft warehouse, distributing meals through 60 partner agencies, including pantries, meal sites, mobile pantries, and senior‐specific programs. As of 2024, the organization served over 56,000 individuals, delivering nearly 5 million meals across its service area.
